Seen above southern section of township of Quirindi, NSW (31deg 30 min South, 150deg 41min East) some 61 km (south) from Tamworth . Soon after midday – around 1 o’clock(?) Eunice and Noelene were in the back garden finishing their cups of tea.
Noelene lay down on bench looking straight up into the sky, while Eunice took the cups back inside. On returning Eunice heard Noelene say “That’s going bloody fast!” Eunice looked directly upwards where Noeleen was pointing and saw a silver ball moving quickly across the sky from East to West (?) over Quirindi. Then several other objects appeared.
They were all a long way up “higher than the jets they often see going overhead” and were a bright metallic gray with a size “like tennis balls”. They moved quickly, or stopped (hovered) and started in a very complex series of movements. They moved up and down and around, but “never got any lower than the usual height normal planes travel over [Quirindi] at”. The objects made absolutely no noise. Her husband, Mario (an ex NATO pilot in the 6-day Middle East war) estimated they were flying around the 50-60,000 feet. She noticed that one of the larger spheres seemed to turn side-on slightly , and she could see that it was in fact two spheres, connected (“tethered”) by a cylinder (soon after described to Eunice as a “dumb-bell” shape).
Two of these dumbbells were seen during the sighting, which lasted well over 1.5 hours (possibly 2 hours). Mostly the objects were the smaller, simple spheres and at one time there were about 20 objects in the sky at once. They tended to arrive slowly from the East or the West “in waves”, before beginning their fast and complex maneuvers. Eunice described the larger objects as being “2-3 inches long” at arm’s length which suggests they were between 820 and 980 metres across (900 + 80 metres)
The object appeared to be about twice as wide as the helicopter and about half the length. But as it had already passed overhead I can’t be sure about the length. By then my mom came outside too but the craft and helicopter had already passed over the neighborhood and out of sight. I was so upset that I hadn’t run out sooner when I first heard the noise.
Also, I wear driving glasses (for distance) which I wasn’t wearing and wish I had been so I could have seen more detail of the object. I watched the news and papers but never heard anything about it. I wonder if you received other reports on this date from this area. My mom’s house is near Tropicana and Eastern.

Peanut shape heading north, low and fast, No noise
My friend and I were sitting outside smoking a cigarette, as we do every night. We were just looking up in the sky for MARS and I looked straight up above me, when I asked my friend, “WHAT IS THAT?” He looked up and say said, “WHERE?” and he pointed to a star and said that is MARS. I said, “NO RIGHT ABOVE YOU. “
He looked straight up and said “What the H— is that?” We both saw an object kind of shaped like a peanut, is the best way to describe it, Round on both ends and thin the middle, it almost looked like a Transport helicopter. But there was NO Sound what so ever, it was totally silent. It looked like metal and just the city lights making the bottom of it glow like a very dull reflection, He said he can see 3 light on it, I couldn’t.
The object was heading due North coming from the South, it was about 2500 feet off the ground and we are guessing it was traveling about 150 mph or faster, but there was NO SOUND WHAT SO EVER. I have no idea what it was I have never seen or ever heard of anything like it, to this day we still are talking about it. .

I have had a close encounter with an alien spaceship.
This occurred on a partially sunny afternoon in Ponce, Puerto Rico, at approximately 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon in what could have been January or February 1974.
The spaceship was shaped like two spheres attached by a cylinder curiously resembling dumbbells.
The spaceship was not shinny nor did it have any blinking lights or humming noises, it was opaque white in a color resembling the color of white clouds. The spaceship moved silently, and very slow, almost hovering in what appeared to be almost a reconnaissance flight. It moved from a southerly position to the north.
I observed the spaceship until it camouflaged itself behind some clouds and I never saw it or have seen it again.
