Note: Gleem was allegedly started because President Eisenhower believed UFOs were a direct threat to national security. In 1966, the name was changed to Aquarius to further distance it from any public record.

Summary:  Project Aquarius was the successor to earlier UFO research projects, operating in total secrecy after the public closure of Project Blue Book in 1969. It focused on the most “legitimate” sightings—specifically those involving structured craft (saucer/cylinder) and those occurring near sensitive military installations. It was a primary sub-project of the MJ-12 program. Project Aquarius represents the “reconstruction” of the United States’ secret history with extraterrestrials. It reveals that the government has recovered multiple crafts (1947, 1949, 1958) and successfully hosted a live Extraterrestrial Biological Entity (EBE) from the Zeta Reticuli star system for three years. The project shifted from simple investigation to active communication (Project SIGMA) and reverse-engineering (Project SNOWBIRD) once non-hostile intent was established.

The Holloman AFB Landing (April 1964)

The text refers to a “prearranged location in the desert of New Mexico” where a USAF officer met two Aliens for three hours. This is widely believed by researchers to be the Holloman Air Force Base landing.

• Key Detail: This meeting was only possible because of the language translation data provided by EBE (the 1949 survivor). It’s the “smoking gun” for the diplomatic side of Project SIGMA.

The “Yellow Book” Connection

The researcher Robert Collins mentions that the Aquarius briefing is a “pre-sequel” to the Yellow Book.

Technical analysis of physical evidence (Negative E) confirms the study of craft approximately 37 feet in diameter featuring trilateral insignia. The project involved active surveillance of civilian researchers (e.g., Paul Bennewitz) to prevent public disclosure of “Signal Processing” and “Technical Assistance” (SPA) related to anomalous phenomena. The project encompasses 16 volumes of documentation. Volume IX contains the most controversial data: evidence of alien visitations dating back 5,000 years and the claim that 2,000 years ago, ancestors of the EBEs “planted” a human-like creature on Earth to assist civilization.
